After pickup from your lodge in Arusha, embark on a scenic journey to Serengeti National Park, one of Africa’s most iconic wildlife destinations. Along the way, enjoy a game drive while carrying packed lunch boxes, offering early encounters with the park’s abundant wildlife.
After the game drive, transfer to your lodge for relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay, surrounded by the sounds of the African wilderness.
The Serengeti is world-famous for the Great Migration, where vast herds of wildebeest, zebras, and antelopes roam the plains. Resident predators, including lions, leopards, and cheetahs, play out the dramatic circle of life, offering unforgettable wildlife viewing for keen safari enthusiasts.
Day 2: Serengeti National Park – Karatu
Rise early for a magical morning game drive in the heart of Serengeti National Park. Witness the plains come alive as wildlife begins its day—predators on the prowl and herbivores grazing across the vast savannah. Capture incredible moments of the Great Migration, with wildebeest, zebras, and antelopes moving in their timeless rhythm. Keep your eyes open for resident predators such as lions, leopards, and cheetahs, performing the drama of the circle of life.
In the afternoon, depart the Serengeti and travel to Karatu, located near the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where you will overnight at a comfortable lodge. Staying here allows for an early start the next morning to descend into the Ngorongoro Crater and witness wildlife when they are most active, ensuring a memorable safari experience.
Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha Town
After an early breakfast, embark on a game drive into the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater, one of the world’s largest uninterrupted volcanic calderas and a true natural wonder of Africa. Explore the crater floor and witness an extraordinary concentration of wildlife, including lions, elephants, zebras, wildebeest, and the elusive black rhino.
